"Charming, comfortable, well equipped cottage"

We enjoyed 7 relaxing days at Cherry Tree Cottage which had everything we needed in a lovely country location. The major attractions of the region (chateaux, cities, caves) were within easy reach on quiet roads with beautiful scenery. The cherry trees were in full fruit and this was delicious. We would recommend the local boulangerie at Couesmes and the plunge pool was great for a cool down in the 30C heat. All in all a lovely place to stay, clean and well maintained. Highly recommended.

“So much to see and do, we wish we had more time.”

It is ideally set in beautiful countryside, but has access to many places of interest and adventure. The cottage itself is perfect it has two good sized bedrooms with plenty of storage for all your things. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need and is immaculate. The bathroom is a great size and even has a washing machine. The outside of the house is fantastic, there is a large plunge pool which we all enjoyed immensely, A built in barbecue which we used nearly every day. Plenty of sun loungers, table and chairs and then of course there is the beautiful garden with an abundance of peach trees pear trees, walnut trees and blackberry bushes. We all enjoyed fresh fruit every morning and the walnuts went perfect with Roquefort cheese . There is an outside games barn which is one giant room and has a full sized table tennis table. There is plenty to do if you want to venture out, we visited some beautiful french towns Saumur with its gorgeous chateau overlooking the town, this looks spectacular in the evening. Tours was another town we all enjoyed with fantastic shops restaurants and flea markets, you can also get a boat trip down the river Loire from here. Angers is also another lovely place to visit with the castle set in the old town. Cherry Tree Cottage really does offer something for everyone no matter what age. If you’re looking for a lovely tranquil place you’ve found it, but what we really loved was we had the best of both worlds, as its only a short drive to explore the towns and cities and explore the beautiful Loire valley. We would definitely like to stay again . xx

“The children quickly made themselves at home and loved the big garden”

Had a great time visiting the attractions of the local area and with all the things to do on hand in the cottage.

Took in a few chateaux in the local area but the children quickly pointed out the benefits of staying in the cottage. Plenty of space for them to run around in the large garden, play in the pool, or play table tennis, while we parents sipped various wines.

Cottage was clean and well maintained and just as advertised in a very peaceful and quiet area. Friendly local caretaker came to keep the garden tidy and the pool clean.
